Corps Design Sideline Screen
The Precision Nomenclature Approximation Conundrum:
No one knows what these things are called, but everyone knows what they are! Sideline Screens, Front Drops, Guard Screens, Walls, or our personal favorite: Judge Blockers.
If you are just getting in to props for your marching show, this is the place to start. Sideline screens are an easy and cost-effective way to frame your performance area and bring your guard show in closer to the audience. If you have been using sideline screens for years, but need a more permanent solution, this is the ultimate “Save the Band Dads” prop. Our screens feature a unique beveled “leg” assembly that ensures that all of the screens pop out at the same angle. They fold flat to less than 2 ½” width for storage. Most importantly, these will last for years.
Standard sizes are:
- 10′ x 4′ (3 screens = 10 yards)
- 8′ x 4′
- 7’6″ x 4′ (2 screen = 5 yards)
- 10′ x 5′
In general, you’ll require fewer of the longer screens, but the shorter screens are easier to manage for your volunteers.
